JULIE DESAULNIERS

Julie has over ten years of experience in the culture and museum sectors. She joined the Corporation de développement culturel’s team in 2010 as the manager of the Manoir Boucher de Niverville and the Maison Rocheleau. She puts her expertise and her versatility to good use in managing historical sites, in performing activities under the component “Heritage” of the Cultural Development Agreement, and in coordinating special projects for Boréalis. In addition, she is responsible for research activities and the Boréalis collection. One of her priorities is to make our heritage interesting and accessible to as many people as possible!

CATHERINE LAMPRON-DÉSAULNIERS

Catherine holds a Master’s degree in Quebecois Studies. She’s been a member of the BORÉALIS’ team since it opened its doors. She started off as a guide and now oversees the museum’s research and collection-related activities. In the past, she has taken part in various exhibition, publication and research projects within the Cultural Heritage Dissemination Team. As a true industrial history enthusiast, she knows our collection inside out and is always excited to meet former industry workers and listen to their countless stories! As a matter of fact, she’s the one in charge of collecting the testimonials of former workers.

ALEXANDRA CARIGNAN

Alexandra holds a Bachelor’s degree in History. She has been working for the Corporation de développement culturel de Trois-Rivières for many years and eventually put down roots with our heritage team. As a guide for Boréalis, the Manoir Boucher de Niverville and the Maison Rocheleau, she combines her passion for history with her love of social interaction. Her versatility allows her to guide school groups, lead tours, manage the reception desk and set up activities in all three sites. She also provides valuable assistance in supporting the activities of the Manoir Boucher de Niverville and the Maison Rocheleau.
